Bartender
Location: Williamsburg, Virginia
Status: Full-Time and Part-Time

Sly Clyde Ciderworks is expanding to Williamsburg, Virginia at its new Sly Clyde Poolside location. The new taproom will be a bar and restaurant at a high-volume resort in the Colonial Capital.

We are looking for bar staff to provide exceptional customer service, educate our patrons about cider, and keep the facilities in tip-top shape. Our award-winning team of cider makers is crafting delicious hard ciders that need the support of an equally effervescent team of barkeepers. Plus, we will sell beers and soft drinks to round out the selection for customers.

Responsibilities

·       Pour pints, tasting flights, fill growlers, sell merchandise

·       Provide exceptional and patient customer service

·       Educate customers about craft cider and Virginia tourism

·       Cleaning in preparation for opening and closing

·       Till count and reconciliation at the end of day

·       Keep the taproom and poolside bar orderly at all times

·       Change kegs and keep the inventory organized

Schedule

·       Full-time and Part-time available, we will be open 7 days a week: flexible hours

·       Will be required to work weekends as the schedule needs

Required Experience and Skills

·       Knowledge of and passion for craft beverages, particularly hard cider and beer

·       1+ years experience in hospitality: bartender, barista, waiter, etc

·       Personability, patience, desire to connect with customers

·       At least 21yrs or older

Compensation

·       Hourly rate plus Tips
